The Portuguese footwear industry is in constant progress. The sector is currently doing one of the most offensive external promotion ever. It’s also predicted commercial activities in 16 different markets, on a real journey around the world in 365 days. Simultaneously, an image campaign is being promoted with the slogan “The sexiest industry in Europe”, which intends to reposition the Portuguese offer at international level.
The World Footwear is an initiative developed by APICCAPS with two communication channels:

- An electronic platform and weekly newsletter with updated industry news
The World Footwear Yearbook is a comprehensive report that analyses the main trends within the footwear sector around the world. The publication aims to analyze the position of the most relevant countries of the footwear industry in terms of Production, Exports, Imports and Consumption, and to evaluate the strategic positioning of the different players.
The global perspective of the industry is complemented with dozens of country profiles, allowing a deep analysis of the dynamics of international trade and its geographic patterns, and a further understanding of markets and products segmentation.
