The external commercial promotion is the main priority to the Portuguese footwear industry, which exports over 95% of its production to 152 countries on all five continents.
As a result of a partnership with AICEP and support from 2020 COMPETE Program, APICCAPS has currently a massive program of external promotion.
Essentially, there are four main goals to the realization of this promotional offensive: consolidate the relative position of the Portuguese footwear in external markets; diversify exports’ destination; approach new markets and enable the process of internationalization of new companies.
